Our Wossner Porsche 911 pistons are perfect for the track or everyday use. Wossner Porsche Pistons have an excellent reputation for longevity and performance.
In order to assure the highest quality forged pistons, Wossner produces all of their own forgings in a plant separate from their piston manufacturing facility. In this way they can completely control the quality of the forgings which so crucially affect the end product. Made from 4032 T6 Aluminum, these forged pistons will hold up to the abusive life of a high performance piston.
As far as performance modification, these pistons are made with a greater dome volume than stock so they will increase the Compression Ratio over the factory 9.8:1 to 10.5:1 giving a bit more HP and torque just from the raised compression ratio. The intake valve pockets measure 48.0 mm and the exhaust pockets 44mm giving plenty of room for valve clearance . The ring pack that comes with the piston kit is a state of the art 1mm top ring and 1.2 mm 2nd ring along with a 2.5mm oil ring which help to reduce friction and free up more HP.
